Cow Wreck Bay, Anegada

Miles of pristine, white beach on Anagada facing the famous ocean reef lagoons. Cow Wreck Bay has a small beach bar with a restaurant, rest room and shower and there are a few villas dotted along the beach. The beach got its name from the cow bones that used to get washed up from shipwrecks in days gone by. A great spot for diving and snorkeling - and the beautiful wave-like sand dunes that stretch from the beach to the main road are worth a look too.
British Virgin Islands beaches have been voted the "best beaches" by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine.
