There is a comprehensive selection of medical services available in the BVI. As well as the public general hospital, Peebles Hospital, there are public clinics on the sister islands.
There are also private medical clinics and a private surgical centre with facilities for Laboratory work, X-ray, MRI, CT scans and mammography.
There are several dental practices and an ophthalmologist. Chiropractic services are available. There are also traditional healers. A good selection of pharmacists can be found throughout the islands.
Health and life insurance may be obtained from insurance companies on the islands, and private clinics may be listed as Preferred Providers.
Hairy, furry and feathered friends (no, not Uncle Harry!) can be taken care of by our local and visiting veterinarians and at the local Animal Shelter. Their personal care can be provided by a local pet centre.
