Traversing an archipelago like the British Virgin Islands obviously relies heavily on sea travel and to this end there are a very large number of ferry services and water taxis available, all at very reasonable rates.

Many remote hotels and restaurants provide their own ferry service to and from nearby shores and marinas so don't forget to call ahead first!
