If you are enjoy riding the waves then you’ll love Apple Bay…In the winter season this stretch of beach enjoys waves of up to six feet and it is a mecca for the BVI surf crowd. It is a narrow stretch of beach that runs between Carrot Bay and Long Bay and is still known to the locals as ‘Capoons Bay’. It is also home to the world famous Bombas Surfside Shack – a BVI institution. No visit to Tortola would be complete without a visit to Bombas to sample his renowned rum punch. Apple Bay is a cool spot to hang out, sip a drink and watch the sun go down over your surfboard…
