Cooten Bay, Tortola

Cooten Bay is on the North Shore of Tortola. It's a great surf bay, which you can only get to by paddling a quarter mile from nearby Josiah's Bay or by taking a boat. You need to be an experienced surfer, and you might want to wear boots as there is some sharp coral here.Behind the shore line are a number of old ruins.
British Virgin Islands beaches have been voted the "best beaches" by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine.
