A surfers paradise…Josiah’s Bay is probably the best surf beach in the BVI. From October through to April you’ll find Tortola’s surf crowd hanging out waiting for the perfect wave. All year round it’s a popular spot for locals to spend a Sunday afternoon sunbathing, swimming, surfing, eating and drinking. It’s a long sandy beach, which backs onto a farming area so don’t be surprised if the odd cow wanders past while you are on the beach…

Getting to Josiah's Bay
From Road Town follow the ridge road towards East End. Just before you descend the hill into East End, you'll reach a sharp right hand bend with two left turns off it - take the first left and follow the tarmac road all the way down to Josiah's Bay.
