Long Bay (West End), Tortola

A mile-long stretch of white sandy beach that stretches from outside the delightful Long Bay Beach Resort towards Smugglers Cove to the West.

The resort provides beach chairs free of charge to anyone who is using the beach - and the palm trees that line the bay provide ample shade. The amenities of the resort itself, including washrooms and a bar and restaurant, are just a few steps off the beach.

Swimming is good here, but watch out for the coral right in front of the resort - instead take a short stroll to the west of the hotel and you'll find a nice stretch of water with a sandy bottom.

An ideal spot to spend the day, with all the facilities you need right on hand.

Getting to Long Bay (West End)

In the West End of Tortola - follow the coast road to Long Bay resort. You can access the beach at the 1748 restaurant, there is a car park there, or drive through the resort ( its a public road)and park on the roadside further to the West for a quieter stretch of beach.
